So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest.’”

予怒而誓之、毋俾斯人、享余安息兮。

我遂震怒而誓曰、必不容其人享我安息、

吾憤乃誓。不令安寧。

So I declared on oath in my anger,‘ They shall never enter my rest.’”

So when I was angry, I made a promise. I said,‘ They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.’ ”

Therefore I swore in my wrath,“ They shall not enter my rest.”

So in my anger I took an oath:‘ They will never enter my place of rest.’”

So I swore in my anger,“ They will not enter my rest.”

Therefore I swore in My anger, They certainly shall not enter My rest.”

Wherefore I sware in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.

So I swore in My anger,“ They will not enter My rest.”

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

So I made a vow in my anger,‘ They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.’”

Therefore I swore in my wrath,“ They won’t enter into my rest.”

For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:“ So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.

and again in this place:“ They shall not enter My rest.”

So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest.’”

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?

for as yet you have not come to the rest and the inheritance which the Lord your God is giving you.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

“ And the Lord heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and took an oath, saying,‘ surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I swore to give to your fathers,

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Say to them,‘ As I live,’ says the Lord,‘ just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.

Thus says the Lord:“ Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said,‘ We will not walk in it.’

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

“ Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest.Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother.My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.“ The more they increased, The more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.They eat up the sin of My people; They set their heart on their iniquity.And it shall be: like people, like priest. So I will punish them for their ways, And reward them for their deeds.For they shall eat, but not have enough; They shall commit harlotry, but not increase; Because they have ceased obeying the Lord.“ Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the heart.
