爾經水中、我護爾、爾涉江河、水不沖沒、爾行火中、必不被燒、烈焰不焚爾、

爾遭六難、天主皆援爾、爾遭七難、災害不及於爾身、饑時必救爾免於死、戰時必援爾脫於刃、遇口舌之害、爾得藏匿、災難臨至、爾可無畏、遇有災難饑饉、爾反喜笑、遇地之暴獸、爾亦不懼、與田石盟約、野獸必與爾和好、必知爾幕平康、察爾居所、毫無所失、亦知爾之子孫眾多、爾之苗裔如地之草萊、爾壽高始歸墓、猶如禾束、屆期蓋藏、此理我已詳察、知其為然、爾當聆之而忖思、

故我儕可毅然曰、主乃助我、我無所畏、人能以何害加我、我無所畏人能以何害加我或作任人向我何為我皆不懼○

則必安然行道、爾足不致顛蹶、爾寢臥必酣寐、無所畏懼、不懼可驚之災忽至、亦不懼惡人群來加害、亦不懼惡人群來加害或作禍患臨及惡人爾亦不懼

我臥我睡我醒、因主扶持我、圍我以攻我者、雖有數萬人、我亦不懼、

必不懼兇惡之風聲、因倚賴主、心中堅固、

主為我之光明、乃我之救主、我尚懼誰耶、主為我生命之保障、我尚畏誰耶、作惡之類、即我之仇人、我之敵人、前來攻我、欲食我肉、彼皆傾跌顛仆、雖有軍兵列營以攻我、我心亦不懼、雖遭爭戰、我亦安然、

惡人雖無人追襲、亦遁逃、惟善人毅然如獅、

所以地雖震陷、山雖崩倒海中、我儕亦無恐懼、

曰、小信者乎、何懼耶、即起、斥風與海、遂大平息、

夜間、人酣寢之時、我心忖默想、忽睹異象、我恐懼驚惶、百骨搖戰、有神過於我前、令我毛髮森豎、

先是主使亞蘭軍旅、聞車聲馬聲大軍之聲、則相語曰、以色列王必賄赫族諸王與伊及諸王、俱來攻我、

我心昏迷、極為悚惶、我宴樂之夜、變為驚駭之夜、

惟天主謂之曰、愚者乎、今夜將索爾靈、則所備者歸於誰、

手執刀、善爭戰、腰各懸劍、以防夜警、

若家主知盜何時至、則必警醒、不致穴其室、此爾所知、

殺人者黎明即起、殺戮貧乏、夜則為賊盜物、姦夫俟至昏暮、自蔽其面、自言無目見我、黑夜穿窬、白晝藏匿、不知何為光明、

張弓發矢、以我為的、以矢囊之矢、射入我腰、

全能者之矢射於我身、其矢有毒、為我心所飲、天主降災驚我、如軍列陣攻我、
