谁明白你愤怒的威力？有谁因为明白你的烈怒而对你心存敬畏呢？

谁晓得你怒气的威力，谁按着你该受的敬畏晓得你的忿怒呢？

谁明白你怒气的威力呢？谁按着你该受的敬畏，明白你的盛怒呢？

誰曉得你怒氣的權勢？誰按着你該受的敬畏曉得你的忿怒呢？

誰曉得你怒氣的權勢？誰因着敬畏你而曉得你的憤怒呢？

誰曉得你怒氣的權勢？誰因着敬畏你而曉得你的憤怒呢？

誰明白你憤怒的威力？有誰因為明白你的烈怒而對你心存敬畏呢？

誰曉得你怒氣的威力，誰按著你該受的敬畏曉得你的忿怒呢？

誰曉得你怒氣之權勢，誰看明你震怒之威力呢？

誰明白你怒氣的威力呢？誰按著你該受的敬畏，明白你的盛怒呢？

孰識爾怒之勢、孰依畏爾之道、而知爾忿乎、

孰知爾怒震烈、而敬乎其所當敬兮、

何人能識主怒之威嚴、誰能依敬畏主之道、明曉主之盛怒、

一念主之威。不寒自懍慄。

If only we knew the power of your anger! Your wrath is as great as the fear that is your due.

Who considers the power of your anger, and your wrath according to the fear of you?

Who can comprehend the power of your anger? Your wrath is as awesome as the fear you deserve.

Who understands the power of your anger? Your wrath matches the fear that is due you.

Who understands the power of Your anger And Your fury, according to the fear that is due You?

Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.

Who knoweth the power of thine anger, And thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto thee?

Who understands the power of Your anger? Your wrath matches the fear that is due You.

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear,[ so is] thy wrath.

Who can really fathom the intensity of your anger? Your raging fury causes people to fear you.

The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless:“ Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?” (niv)

I myself will be hostile toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over. (niv)

The Lord will never be willing to forgive them; his wrath and zeal will burn against them. All the curses written in this book will fall on them, and the Lord will blot out their names from under heaven.The Lord will single them out from all the tribes of Israel for disaster, according to all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.Your children who follow you in later generations and foreigners who come from distant lands will see the calamities that have fallen on the land and the diseases with which the Lord has afflicted it.The whole land will be a burning waste of salt and sulfur— nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing on it. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim, which the Lord overthrew in fierce anger.All the nations will ask:“ Why has the Lord done this to this land? Why this fierce, burning anger?”And the answer will be:“ It is because this people abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the covenant he made with them when he brought them out of Egypt.They went off and worshiped other gods and bowed down to them, gods they did not know, gods he had not given them.Therefore the Lord’s anger burned against this land, so that he brought on it all the curses written in this book.In furious anger and in great wrath the Lord uprooted them from their land and thrust them into another land, as it is now.”The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. (niv)

It is you alone who are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry? (niv)

Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him. (niv)

Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. (niv)

“‘ If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve. (niv)

the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. (niv)
