至於那些圍困我的人，願他們嘴唇的禍患遮蓋自己的頭；

願錫安山因你的審判而歡喜，願猶大女子因此而快樂。

今天耶和華必把你交在我手中，我要擊殺你，從你身上砍下你的頭。今天我還要把非利士軍兵的屍首給天空的飛鳥和地上的野獸。這樣全地都會知道：以色列中有一位神；

因你口中的言語陷入圈套，因你口中的言語被捉住了——

耶和華——我的磐石、我的救贖主啊，願我口中的言語、心裡的默想，在你面前蒙悅納。

因此耶和華的話語對他們就成了「命令加命令，命令加命令；條例加條例，條例加條例；這裡一點，那裡一點」，致使他們走路時向後跌倒摔傷，陷入圈套被纏住。
