My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, Yahweh. I have spread out my hands to you.

相識日以疎。視我為不祥。身困重重縛。末由脫其繮。

my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.

I’m crying so much I can’t see very well. Lord, I call out to you every day. I lift up my hands to you in prayer.

Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.

My friends scoff at me. My eyes pour out tears to God,

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

My eye runs down with streams of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.My eye pours down and doesn’t cease, without any intermission,

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god,

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,

Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.
