For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.

蓋爾為大、且行奇事、惟爾為上帝兮、

惟爾為上帝、獨一無二、丕著經綸、大行異跡兮。

惟主至大、施行奇跡、惟主為天主、

眞宰惟主。經綸浩浩。

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

You are great. You do wonderful things. You alone are God.

For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone.

Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things.

Jesus replied,“ The most important commandment is this:‘ Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord.

“ O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.

So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God.

“ Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?

Look now; I myself am he! There is no other god but me! I am the one who kills and gives life; I am the one who wounds and heals; no one can be rescued from my powerful hand!

No pagan god is like you, O Lord. None can do what you do!

one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.

“ I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God, and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end.He rescues and saves his people; he performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.

Now, O Lord our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O Lord, are God.”

This is what the Lord says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies:“ I am the First and the Last; there is no other God.Who is like me? Let him step forward and prove to you his power. Let him do as I have done since ancient times when I established a people and explained its future.Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses— is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock— not one!”

And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.

Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

“ Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty?

Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me, bringing the Gentiles to God by my message and by the way I worked among them.They were convinced by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of God’s Spirit. In this way, I have fully presented the Good News of Christ from Jerusalem all the way to Illyricum.

Listen closely, Israel, and be careful to obey. Then all will go well with you, and you will have many children in the land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.“ Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.

O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as you?You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations.By your strong arm, you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Interlude

And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below— blood and fire and clouds of smoke.The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives.But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’“ People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know.
