免致像他們祖宗、做頑梗悖逆的一代，做居心不堅定、心對上帝不忠實的一代。

不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、居心不正之辈，向着神，心不诚实。

不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、心不坚定，向上帝心不忠实之辈。

不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、心不坚定，向神心不忠实之辈。

也不会像自己的祖先那样顽梗叛逆，对上帝不忠，心怀二意。

免得他们像他们的列祖，成了顽梗悖逆的一代，心不坚定的一代，他们的心对神不忠。

以免像他们的祖先，成为顽梗悖逆、心里不坚定、灵里对神不忠实的一代。

不要像他們的祖宗，是頑梗悖逆、居心不正之輩，向着神，心不誠實。

不要像他們的祖宗，是頑梗悖逆、心不堅定，向上帝心不忠實之輩。

不要像他們的祖宗，是頑梗悖逆、心不堅定，向神心不忠實之輩。

也不會像自己的祖先那樣頑梗叛逆，對上帝不忠，心懷二意。

免得他們像他們的列祖，成了頑梗悖逆的一代，心不堅定的一代，他們的心對神不忠。

以免像他們的祖先，成為頑梗悖逆、心裡不堅定、靈裡對神不忠實的一代。

勿效厥祖、斯代頑梗悖逆、其心不正、其神不堅於上帝兮、

毋濟祖惡、如祖悖逆、其心不正、其志不立、以事上帝兮。

莫傚其列祖違背叛逆、居心不中正、向天主意不誠實、

毋效乃父。頑梗成性。懷主不篤。厥心不正。

They would not be like their ancestors— a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him.

They would not be like their people who lived long ago. Those people were stubborn. They refused to obey God. They turned away from him. Their spirits were not faithful to him.

and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Then they will not be like their ancestors— stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.

Then they would not be like their ancestors, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not loyal and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not prepare its heart And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

And might not be as their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that set not their heart aright, And whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

Then they would not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not loyal and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

他們的心不堅定的向着他，他們對他的約總不忠實。

永恆主對摩西說：『我看這人民，嗐，真是脖子硬的人民。

因為我深知你們的悖逆、你們的脖子硬；看哪，我今日還活着、和你們同在，你們尚且悖逆永恆主，何況我死後呢？

『我在曠野對他們的兒女說：不要遵行你們祖先的律例，不要謹守他們的典章，也不要因他們的偶像而玷污自己。

你們要上那流奶與蜜之地；但你們既是脖子硬的人民，我就不在你們中間上去，免得我在路上把你們滅盡了。』

『頸項剛硬、心與耳沒受割禮的人哪，你們永遠抗拒聖靈；你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

你們不要像你們列祖和你們的族弟兄：他們對永恆主他們列祖的上帝不忠實，以致永恆主使他們成了令人驚駭的對象，正如你們自己所見過的。

他們卻不聽，竟硬着脖子，像他們那些不信服永恆主他們的上帝、的列祖硬着脖子一樣；

『你呢，你若將心守正，伸開雙手向他禱告——

羅波安行了壞事，因為他不立定心意尋求永恆主。

然而同我上去的那些族弟兄卻使人民膽戰心驚；而我則滿心滿懷跟從永恆主我的上帝。當日摩西起誓說：「你腳所踏的地一定要歸你和你子孫為產業到永遠，因為你滿心滿懷跟從永恆主我的上帝。」

惟有你們這緊依附着永恆主你們的上帝的人、今日全都活着。

自從我認識了你們那一天，你們總是悖逆永恆主的。

他對我說：『人子啊，我差遣你去找背叛之國以色列人，就是背叛我的：他們和他們的列祖都悖逆了我、直到今天這日子。這眾兒子硬着頭皮，心裏剛硬；我差遣你去找他們；你要對他們說：「主永恆主這麼說」。他們或者聽或者不聽，（他們原是叛逆之家）總會知道在他們中間是有了神言人了。人子啊，你不要怕他們，他們的話你可不要懼怕，雖有頂撞和藐視的人如同荊棘和蒺藜在你那裏，你又住在蠍子中間；他們的話你可不要懼怕，你不要因他們的臉色而驚慌；他們原是叛逆之家。他們或者聽、或者不聽，你只管將我的話告訴他們；他們原是叛逆之家呀。但你呢，人子啊，你可要聽我所告訴你的；不要叛逆，像叛逆之家一樣；你要開口喫我所賜給你的』。

只是邱壇還沒有廢去；人民還沒有立定心意歸向他們列祖的上帝。

永恆主對摩西說：『你要對以色列人說：「你們是脖子硬的人民；我若眨眼間臨到你們中間，是會把你們滅盡的；如今你們要把身上的妝飾脫下來，讓我知道要怎樣處置你們。」』

說：『主啊，我若在你面前蒙恩，求主在我們中間同行，雖然這是脖子硬的人民；求你赦免我們的愆尤罪惡，拿我們當做你的產業。』

然而你還有良好的表現，因為你從國中將亞舍拉神木肅清，你並且立定了心意尋求上帝。』

我們的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，沒有懷念你堅愛之豐盛，反而悖逆了至高者於蘆葦海。

『永恆主又對我說：「我看這人民真是脖子硬的人民。

然而他們卻叛逆了我，不肯聽我，各不拋棄他們眼中所喜愛可憎之像，不離棄埃及的偶像。『我本心裏說我要將我的烈怒傾倒在他們身上，我要在埃及地之中向他們發盡我的忿怒。

因為他們是悖逆的人民、不忠實的兒女，不肯聽從永恆主指教的兒女。

『故此你要知道永恆主你的上帝將這美好之地賜給你去取得它，並不是因你的美德；你本是脖子硬的人民。你要記得，不可忘記：你在曠野怎樣惹了永恆主你的上帝的震怒；自從你出了埃及地那一天、到你們來到這地方，你們總是悖逆永恆主的。

這你們便是控訴自己作證自己是殺害神言人者的子孫了。你們祖宗的惡貫你們去滿盈吧！蛇啊，毒蛇的種啊，你們怎能逃避地獄的定罪呢？

巴拿巴到了那裏，看見上帝的恩，就歡喜，又鼓勵眾人以心中的定志緊依附着主。

上帝使孤獨的有家住，領被囚的出到優游順遂之處；惟獨悖逆的住在乾燥之地。
