並告後世。恐懼修省。

so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.

Then those born later would know his laws. Even their children yet to come would know them. And they in turn would tell their children.

His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done.

Let us, your servants, see you work again; let our children see your glory.

Take note of the fortified walls, and tour all the citadels, that you may describe them to future generations.

Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me.

“ The truth is, we have built this altar because we fear that in the future your descendants will say to ours,‘ What right do you have to worship the Lord, the God of Israel?The Lord has placed the Jordan River as a barrier between our people and you people of Reuben and Gad. You have no claim to the Lord.’ So your descendants may prevent our descendants from worshiping the Lord.

Tell your children about it in the years to come, and let your children tell their children. Pass the story down from generation to generation.

Never forget the day when you stood before the Lord your God at Mount Sinai, where he told me,‘ Summon the people before me, and I will personally instruct them. Then they will learn to fear me as long as they live, and they will teach their children to fear me also.’

Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.

These days would be remembered and kept from generation to generation and celebrated by every family throughout the provinces and cities of the empire. This Festival of Purim would never cease to be celebrated among the Jews, nor would the memory of what happened ever die out among their descendants.
