作父親的，你們不要激怒兒女，但要照着主的教導和勸戒養育他們。

這些法度、律例、典章是摩西在以色列人出埃及後對他們說的，

他攻擊埃及地的時候，曾立此為約瑟的法度。我聽見我所不明白的語言：

他將他的道指示雅各，將他的律例典章指示以色列。

當以教誨和律法書為準；人所說的若不與此相符，必沒有黎明。

是我們所聽見、所知道，我們的祖宗告訴我們的。我們不要向子孫隱瞞這些事，而要將耶和華的美德和他的能力，並他所行的奇事，述說給後代聽。

很多，各方面都有。首先，神的聖言交託他們。

把法櫃安放在裏面，用幔子將櫃遮掩。

要把櫃蓋安在櫃的上邊，又要把我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。

只有活人，活人必稱謝你，像我今日稱謝你一樣。為父的，必使兒女知道你的信實。

我揀選他，為要叫他命令他的子孫和後代家屬遵行耶和華的道，秉公行義，使耶和華所應許亞伯拉罕的話都實現了。」

你們也要將這些話教導你們的兒女，無論坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要講論，

耶和華的律法全備，使人甦醒；耶和華的法度確定，使愚蒙人有智慧。

既然我們領受人的見證，神的見證更該領受了，因為神的見證是為他兒子作的。信神兒子的，就有這見證在他心裏；不信神的，就是把神當作說謊的，因為不信神為他兒子作的見證。這見證就是：神賜給我們永生，而這永生是在他兒子裏面的。那有神兒子的，就有生命；沒有神兒子的，就沒有生命。

我從你的法度早已知道，這法度是你永遠立定的。

要把我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。
