O Jehovah, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee.Let my prayer enter into thy presence; Incline thine ear unto my cry.For my soul is full of troubles, And my life draweth nigh unto Sheol.

And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch.Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; But a broken spirit who can bear?
