People should have respect for you alone. Who can stand in front of you when you are angry?

一怒定乾坤。車馬歸寂寞。

It is you alone who are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry?

But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?

No wonder you are greatly feared! Who can stand before you when your anger explodes?

And you— you are to be feared. When you are angry, who can stand before you?

You, You indeed are to be feared, And who may stand in Your presence, once You are angry?

You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry?

Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

And You— You are to be feared. When You are angry, who can stand before You?

Thou,[ even] thou,[ art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

You are awesome! Yes, you! Who can withstand your intense anger?

You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

Who can stand firm when his anger burns? Who can live when he is angry? His anger blazes out like fire. He smashes the rocks to pieces.

God is highly respected among his holy angels. He’s more wonderful than all those who are around him.

Lord, suppose you kept a close watch on sins. Lord, who then wouldn’t be found guilty?

King of the nations, everyone should have respect for you. That’s what people should give you. Among all the wise leaders of the nations there is no one like you. No one can compare with you in all their kingdoms.All of them are foolish. They don’t have any sense. They think they are taught by worthless wooden gods.Hammered silver is brought from Tarshish. Gold is brought from Uphaz. People skilled in working with wood and gold make a statue. Then they put blue and purple clothes on it. The whole thing is made by skilled workers.But you are the only true God. You are the only living God. You are the King who rules forever. When you are angry, the earth trembles with fear. The nations can’t stand up under your anger.

If only we knew the power of your anger! It’s as great as the respect we should have for you.

Lord, you are the God of Israel. You are holy. You always do what is right. Today you have left many of your people alive. Here we are with all our guilt. You see the guilt of our sin. Because we have sinned, not one of us can stand in front of you.”

In a loud voice he said,“ Have respect for God. Give him glory. The hour has come for God to judge. Worship him who made the heavens and the earth. Worship him who made the sea and the springs of water.”

They called out to the mountains and rocks,“ Fall on us! Hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne! Hide us from the anger of the Lamb!The great day of their anger has come. Who can live through it?”

Are we trying to make the Lord jealous? Are we stronger than he is?

Lord, who will not have respect for you? Who will not bring glory to your name? You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you. They see that the things you do are right.”

Obey the son completely, or he will be angry. Your way of life will lead to your death. His anger can blaze out at any moment. Blessed are all those who go to him for safety.

The Lord is great. He is really worthy of praise. People should have respect for him as the greatest God of all.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but can’t kill the soul. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
