世人之恚憤。適足成主榮。願將其餘怒。化為救世音。

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.

你们要以感谢为祭献与神，又要向至高者还你的愿，

因你耶路撒冷的殿，列王必带贡物献给你。

你向神许愿，偿还不可迟延，因他不喜悦愚昧人，所以你许的愿应当偿还。你许愿不还，不如不许。不可任你的口使肉体犯罪，也不可在祭司面前说是错许了。为何使神因你的声音发怒，败坏你手所做的呢？

他在圣者的会中，是大有威严的神，比一切在他四围的更可畏惧。

若不是我父亲以撒所敬畏的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神与我同在，你如今必定打发我空手而去。神看见我的苦情和我的劳碌，就在昨夜责备你。”

你一切的男丁要在除酵节、七七节、住棚节，一年三次，在耶和华你神所选择的地方朝见他，却不可空手朝见。

人若向耶和华许愿或起誓，要约束自己，就不可食言，必要按口中所出的一切话行。

这样，耶和华救希西家和耶路撒冷的居民脱离亚述王西拿基立的手，也脱离一切仇敌的手，又赐他们四境平安。有许多人到耶路撒冷，将供物献与耶和华，又将宝物送给犹大王希西家。此后，希西家在列邦人的眼中看为尊大。

你公义的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按誓而行。
