When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable[ are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:And they shall scourge[ him], and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up[ riches], and knoweth not who shall gather them.

Clouds and darkness[ are] round about him: righteousness and judgment[ are] the habitation of his throne.

Thy righteousness[ is] like the great mountains; thy judgments[ are] a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Thy way[ is] in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

Surely I[ am] more brutish than[ any] man, and have not the understanding of a man.I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
