In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.

May godly people do well as long as he rules. May they have more than they need as long as the moon lasts.

For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, which is the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace;and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility.And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near;

The righteous person will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

I will abundantly bless her food; I will satisfy her needy with bread.I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her godly ones will sing aloud for joy.I will make the horn of David spring forth there; I have prepared a lamp for My anointed.I will clothe his enemies with shame, But upon himself his crown will gleam.”

So Judah and Israel lived securely, everyone under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.

To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations; And they will repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks, And foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers.But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And you will boast in their riches.

Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen.The mind of the rash will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak clearly.No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty.As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the poor with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.But the noble person devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands.

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it produce and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.For you will go out with joy And be led in peace; The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.Instead of the thorn bush, the juniper will come up, And instead of the stinging nettle, the myrtle will come up; And it will be a memorial to the Lord, An everlasting sign which will not be eliminated.”

and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

The wilderness and the desert will rejoice, And the desert will shout for joy and blossom; Like the crocusIt will blossom profusely And rejoice with joy and jubilation. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, The majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, The majesty of our God.Strengthen the exhausted, and make the feeble strong.Say to those with anxious heart,“ Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.”Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened, And the ears of those who are deaf will be unstopped.Then those who limp will leap like a deer, And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.The scorched land will become a pool And the thirsty ground springs of water; In the haunt of jackals, its resting place, Grass becomes reeds and rushes.A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it.No lion will be there, Nor will any vicious animal go up on it; They will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there,And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

“ Afflicted one, storm tossed, and not comforted, Behold, I will set your stones in antimony, And I will lay your foundations with sapphires.Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, And your gates of crystal, And your entire wall of precious stones.All your sons will be taught by the Lord; And the well being of your sons will be great.In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.If anyone fiercely attacks you, it will not be from Me. Whoever attacks you will fall because of you.Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals And produces a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to inflict ruin.No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

“ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.”

The smallest one will become a thousand, And the least one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will bring it about quickly in its time.”

“ Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.

And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fattened steer will be together; And a little boy will lead them.Also the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox.The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a groom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.For as the earth produces its sprouts, And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise To spring up before all the nations.

Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness will remain in the fertile field.And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.Then my people will live in a peaceful settlement, In secure dwellings, and in undisturbed resting places;And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low.How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, Who let the ox and the donkey out freely.
