彼降恩澤、如雨降於刈草之地、如甘霖之滋潤田土、

澤同甘雨。如膏如酥。草木以長。大地以濡。

May he be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth.

May he be like rain falling on the fields. May he be like showers watering the earth.

May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth!

May the king’s rule be refreshing like spring rain on freshly cut grass, like the showers that water the earth.

May the king be like rain that falls on the cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.

He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth.

He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.

May he be like rain that falls on the cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers[ that] water the earth.

He will descend like rain on the mown grass, like showers that drench the earth.

May my teaching drip as the rain, My speech trickle as the dew, As droplets on the fresh grass, And as the showers on the vegetation.

So let’s learn, let’s press on to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, As the spring rain waters the earth.”

Is like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, When the fresh grass springs out of the earth From sunshine after rain.’

And it will be on the day when the Lord gives you rest from your hardship, your turmoil, and from the harsh service in which you have been enslaved,that you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, and say,“ How the oppressor has ceased, And how the onslaught has ceased!The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, The scepter of rulers,

I will lay it waste; It will not be pruned nor hoed, But briars and thorns will come up. I will also command the clouds not to rain on it.”

A king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.

You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.

“ Then I will appoint over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David will be prince among them; I the Lord have spoken.“ And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful animals from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing.

In the light of a king’s face is life, And his favor is like a cloud with the spring rain.

I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon.His shoots will sprout, His majesty will be like the olive tree, And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.Those who live in his shadow Will again raise grain, And they will blossom like the vine. His fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.
