彼降恩澤、如雨降於刈草之地、如甘霖之滋潤田土、

澤同甘雨。如膏如酥。草木以長。大地以濡。

May he be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth.

May he be like rain falling on the fields. May he be like showers watering the earth.

May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth!

May the king’s rule be refreshing like spring rain on freshly cut grass, like the showers that water the earth.

May the king be like rain that falls on the cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.

May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.

May he be like rain that falls on the cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers[ that] water the earth.

He will descend like rain on the mown grass, like showers that drench the earth.

He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, Like the tender grass springing out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.’

It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say:“ How the oppressor has ceased, The golden city ceased!The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, The scepter of the rulers;

I will lay it waste; It shall not be pruned or dug, But there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds That they rain no rain on it.”

The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.

You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.

I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them— My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd.And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken.“ I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

In the light of the king’s face is life, And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.

I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; They shall be revived like grain, And grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
