In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.

May godly people do well as long as he rules. May they have more than they need as long as the moon lasts.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.

The eyes of those who see will not be dim, And the ears of those who hear will listen.Also the heart of the rash will understand knowledge, And the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.The foolish person will no longer be called generous, Nor the miser said to be bountiful;For the foolish person will speak foolishness, And his heart will work iniquity: To practice ungodliness, To utter error against the Lord, To keep the hungry unsatisfied, And he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice.But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.

“ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.“ For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God.Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees.Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“ Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

“ O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires.I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones.All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.“ Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

“ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men!”

A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

“ The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness remain in the fruitful field.The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,Though hail comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation.Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, Who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey.
