我的神啊！求你救我脫離惡人的手，脫離邪惡和殘暴的人的掌握，

求我天主救我脫離惡人之手、從行不義與強橫人之掌中拯救我、

求主賜拯拔。脫我於醜類。

Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.

我的神啊！求你救我脫離我的仇敵，求你把我安放在高處，脫離那些起來攻擊我的人。求你救我脫離作孽的人，救我脫離流人血的人。

亞希多弗又對押沙龍說：“求你准我挑選一萬二千人，今晚我要動身去追趕大衛，趁他疲乏手軟的時候，忽然追上他，使他驚惶失措，與他在一起的人就必逃跑；我只要單單擊殺王一人，

求你保護我，像保護眼中的瞳人，把我隱藏在你的翅膀蔭下；使我脫離那些欺壓我的惡人，脫離那些圍繞我的死敵。

耶和華啊！求你起來，迎面攻擊他們，把他們打倒；用你的刀救我的命脫離惡人。

耶和華啊！求你拯救我脫離惡人，求你保護我脫離強暴的人。他們心中圖謀惡事，整天挑啟爭端。他們使自己的舌頭尖利，如同蛇的舌頭；他們嘴裡有虺蛇的毒。（細拉）耶和華啊！求你保護我脫離惡人的手，保護我脫離強暴的人，因為他們圖謀推倒我。

亞希多弗對押沙龍說：“你去與你父親留下來看守王宮的那些妃嬪親近，這樣以色列眾人聽見你與你父親已經完全決裂，所有跟隨你的人的手就都更堅強了。”於是有人為押沙龍在王宮的平頂上搭了一座帳棚，押沙龍就在以色列眾人眼前與他父親的妃嬪親近。

他們走了以後，兩人從井裡上來，去告訴大衛王，對大衛說：“你們要起來，趕快過河，因為亞希多弗已經定了這樣這樣的謀略攻擊你們。”

無論我們在哪一個地方找到大衛，就攻擊他；我們臨到他，像露水降在地上一樣。這樣，他和跟隨他的人，就一個也不會留下。如果他退入城裡去，以色列眾人就要帶繩子到那城去，我們要把那城拉到河裡去，使那裡連一塊小石頭也找不到。”押沙龍和以色列眾人都說：“亞基人戶篩的謀略比亞希多弗的好。”因為耶和華定意要破壞亞希多弗的好計謀，為要降災禍給押沙龍。
