They say,“ God has abandoned him. Run and seize him, for there is no one who will rescue him!”

曰、上帝棄之、其追捕之、無人救援兮、

謂我見絶於上帝、援手無人、可襲取兮。

云、天主已棄之、可以追而執之、必無人救援、

僉曰主所絕。彼又無人濟。吾人盍追擊。執之反掌易。

They say,“ God has forsaken him; pursue him and seize him, for no one will rescue him.”

They say,“ God has deserted him. Go after him and grab him. No one will save him.”

and say,“ God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver him.”

They say,“ God has abandoned him. Let’s go and get him, for no one will help him now.”

saying,“ God has abandoned him; chase him and catch him, for there is no one to rescue him.”

Saying,“ God has abandoned him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to save him.”

Saying,“ God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”

Saying, God hath forsaken him: Pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.

saying,“ God has abandoned him; chase him and catch him, for there is no one to rescue him.”

Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for[ there is] none to deliver[ him].

Otherwise they will rip me to shreds like a lion; they will tear me to bits and no one will be able to rescue me.

Many say about me,“ God will not deliver him.”( Selah)

Now if you are ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must bow down and pay homage to the statue that I had made. If you don’t pay homage to it, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. Now, who is that god who can rescue you from my power?”

I was once young, now I am old. I have never seen a godly man abandoned, or his children forced to search for food.

Carefully consider this, you who reject God! Otherwise I will rip you to shreds and no one will be able to rescue you.

Are you not aware of what I and my predecessors have done to all the nations of the surrounding lands? Have the gods of the surrounding lands actually been able to rescue their lands from my power?Who among all the gods of these nations whom my predecessors annihilated was able to rescue his people from my power?

At about three o’clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice,“ Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is,“ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

But the rest said,“ Leave him alone! Let’s see if Elijah will come to save him.”

All who hate me whisper insults about me to one another; they plan ways to harm me.They say,‘ An awful disease overwhelms him, and now that he is bed-ridden he will never recover.’

“ He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down now from the cross, we will believe in him!He trusts in God– let God, if he wants to, deliver him now because he said,‘ I am God’s Son’!”

For the LORD promotes justice, and never abandons his faithful followers. They are permanently secure, but the children of evil men are wiped out.

My enemies’ taunts cut into me to the bone, as they say to me all day long,“ Where is your God?”
