Let the Lord judge the peoples. Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High.

You are witnesses, and so is God, as to how holy and righteous and blameless our conduct was toward you who believe.

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition from God.

Vindicate me, O God! Fight for me against an ungodly nation! Deliver me from deceitful and evil men!

Make a just decision on my behalf! Decide what is right!You have scrutinized my inner motives; you have examined me during the night. You have carefully evaluated me, but you find no sin. I am determined I will say nothing sinful.

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven. His eyes watch; his eyes examine all people.

As for me, you uphold me because of my integrity; you allow me permanent access to your presence.

But I have integrity! Rescue me and have mercy on me!

Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us! We don’t know what we should do; we look to you for help.”

May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you!

May those who arrogantly taunt me be covered with shame and humiliation!May those who desire my vindication shout for joy and rejoice! May they continually say,“ May the LORD be praised, for he wants his servant to be secure.”

David cared for them with pure motives; he led them with skill.

Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his speech and is a fool.

God stands in the assembly of El; in the midst of the gods he renders judgment.
