If evil people don’t change their ways, God will sharpen his sword. He will get his bow ready to use.

If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow;

If a person does not repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow.

If anyone does not repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has strung his bow and made it ready.

Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.

The sword despises every such stick.“‘ The sword is appointed to be polished, to be grasped with the hand; it is sharpened and polished, made ready for the hand of the slayer.
