求你按着你的美意善待锡安；求你修筑耶路撒冷的城墙。

我使我仆人的话实现，使我使者的谋算成就。我对耶路撒冷说：‘你必有人居住。’对犹大的城镇说：‘你们要再被建造起来，至于其中的废墟，我必重建它们。’

我使我的公义临近了，必不远离；我的救恩必不迟延。我要为以色列，我的荣耀，在锡安施行拯救。”

因你的审判，锡安山应当欢喜，犹大的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）应当快乐。你们要在锡安四处巡行，绕城一周，数点城楼，细察它的外墙，巡视它的堡垒，使你们可以述说给后代的人听。

他们必说：“先前这荒凉之地，现在竟像伊甸园一样；这些废弃、荒凉、毁坏了的城市，现在却成了坚固城，有人居住了。”那时，在你们四围所余剩的列国，就必知道我是耶和华，是我重建了那些毁坏的地方，栽植了那些荒凉之地。我耶和华说了，就必实行。

你要起来，怜悯锡安，因为现在是恩待锡安的时候；所定的日期已经到了。

“耶和华这样说：‘论到这地方，你们说：“这地荒废，没有人烟，也没有牲畜。”但在这荒凉、没有人烟、没有居民、也没有牲畜的犹大各城和耶路撒冷的街上，必再听见欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音；还要听见那些带着感恩祭到耶和华殿的人的声音说：“你们要称谢万军之耶和华，因为耶和华是至善的，他的慈爱永远长存。”因为我必使这地被掳的归回，像起初一样。’”这是耶和华说的。

人要怎样回答外族的使者呢？要说：“耶和华建立了锡安，他子民中的困苦人必在其中避难。”

但在锡安山上必有逃脱的人，那山必成为圣；雅各家必得回他们原有的产业。

因为耶和华必建造锡安，在他自己的荣耀里显现。

耶路撒冷啊！你要颂赞耶和华；锡安哪！你要赞美你的神。因为他坚固了你城门的门闩，赐福在你中间的儿女。

我又观看，见羊羔站在锡安山上，跟他在一起的还有十四万四千人。他们的额上都写着他的名和他父的名。
