万军之耶和华说：你们若不听从，也不放在心上，将荣耀归与我的名，我就使咒诅临到你们，使你们的福分变为咒诅；因你们不把诫命放在心上，我已经咒诅你们了。

他必作为圣所，却向以色列两家作绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；向耶路撒冷的居民作为圈套和网罗。许多人必在其上绊脚跌倒，而且跌碎，并陷入网罗，被缠住。”

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石。”他们既不顺从，就在道理上绊跌；他们这样绊跌也是预定的。

人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

愚昧人背道，必杀己身；愚顽人安逸，必害己命。
