You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.

他們心裏並不說：『我們應當敬畏耶和華－我們的上帝；他按時賜雨，就是秋雨和春雨，又為我們定收割的季節。』

至於那些今世富足的人，你要囑咐他們不要自高，也不要倚賴靠不住的錢財；要倚靠那厚賜萬物給我們享受的上帝。又要囑咐他們行善，在好事上富足，甘心施捨，樂意分享，

我必按時降雨給你們，使地長出農作物，田野的樹結出果實。

外邦虛無的神明中有能降雨的嗎？天能自降甘霖嗎？耶和華－我們的上帝啊，不是你嗎？我們要等候你，因為這一切都是你所造的。

他對雪說：『要降在地上』；對大雨和暴雨也是這樣說。他封住各人的手，叫所造的萬人都知道他的作為。野獸進入穴中，臥在自己洞內。暴風來自內宮，寒冷出於狂風。上帝噓氣成冰，凝結寬闊之水，使密雲盛滿水氣，烏雲散佈閃電。雲藉着他的指引遊行旋轉，在世界的地面上行他一切所吩咐的，或為責罰，或為他的地，或為慈愛，都是他所行的。

然而他未嘗不為自己留下證據來，就如常行善事，從天降雨，賞賜豐年，使你們飲食飽足，滿心喜樂。」

他使你境內平安，用上好的麥子使你滿足。

「錫安的民哪，你們要歡喜，要因耶和華－你們的上帝快樂；因他賞賜你們合宜的秋雨，為你們降下甘霖，秋雨和春雨，和先前一樣。「禾場充滿五穀，池中漫溢新酒和新的油。我差遣到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年間所吃的，我要補還給你們。「你們必吃得飽足，讚美耶和華－你們上帝的名，他為你們行了奇妙的事。我的百姓不致羞愧，直到永遠。

他降雨在地面，賜水於田野。他將卑微的人安置在高處，將哀痛的人舉到穩妥之地。

他用密雲遮天，為地預備雨水，使草生長在山上。他賜食物給走獸和啼叫的小烏鴉。

你們要過去得為業的那地乃是有山有谷、天上的雨水滋潤之地，是耶和華－你上帝所眷顧的地；從歲首到年終，耶和華－你上帝的眼目時常看顧那地。

你以恩惠為年歲的冠冕，你的路徑都滴下油脂，

以撒在那地耕種，那一年有百倍的收成。耶和華賜福給他，

拿娥米與兩個媳婦起身，要從摩押地回去，因為她在摩押地聽見耶和華眷顧自己的百姓，賜糧食給他們。

又種田地，栽葡萄園，得享所出產的果實。

天使又讓我看一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座流出來，

上帝啊，你是我的上帝，我要切切尋求你；在乾旱疲乏無水之地，我的心靈渴想你，我的肉身切慕你。
