就如他从创世以前，在基督里拣选了我们，使我们在他面前成为圣洁、毫无瑕疵。他在爱中，

我一生一世，必有福份和慈爱紧随着我；我要住在耶和华的殿中，直到永远。

以耶和华为神的，那国是蒙福的！耶和华所拣选为自己继业的，那民是蒙福的！

他们饱尝你家中的肥甘，你给他们喝你喜乐河的水；

你们要知道：耶和华已经把忠信的人分别出来归于自己，我向耶和华呼求的时候，他就垂听。

我又听见有大声音从宝座上传来，说：“看哪，神的居所在人间，神将要与人一同居住。他们将要做他的子民，神将要亲自与他们同在，做他们的神。神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。将来不再有死亡，也不再有悲伤、哭泣或痛苦，因为先前的事已经过去了。”

蒙主所爱的弟兄们，我们应该为你们常常感谢神，因为神为了救恩的缘故，就藉着在圣灵里的分别为圣，以及真理的信仰，拣选了你们做为初熟的果子。

又因为耶和华拣选了雅各归于自己，拣选了以色列作他珍贵的产业。

他拣选了自己的仆人大卫，从羊圈中把他挑选出来，从所照顾的哺乳母羊当中把他带出来，为要牧养自己的子民雅各，自己的继业以色列。

我的心就像饱尝了骨髓脂油，我的口要以欢乐的嘴唇发出赞美。

众城门哪，当抬起你们的头！永久的门哪，你们要被抬起，好让荣耀的王进来！

那得胜的，我将要让他在我神的圣所中做柱石，他绝不再出去。我要把我神的名，我神之城的名——就是从我的神那里、从天上降下来的新耶路撒冷的名，和我的新名，都写在他身上。

耶和华啊，谁能居住在你的帐篷中呢？谁能安居在你的圣山上呢？

他们将不再饥饿，也不再干渴；太阳或任何炎热也不会伤到他们；因为在宝座中的羔羊将牧养他们，领他们到生命水的泉源；神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。”
