Have You Yourself not rejected us, God? And will You not go out with our armies, God?

神啊，你不是丢弃了我们吗？神啊，你不和我们的军兵同去吗？

上帝啊，你真的丢弃了我们吗？上帝啊，你不和我们的军队同去吗？

神啊，你真的丢弃了我们吗？神啊，你不和我们的军队同去吗？

上帝啊，你抛弃了我们吗？不再和我们的军队一同出战了吗？

神啊！你不是把我们丢弃了吗？神啊！你不和我们的军队一同出战吗？

神哪，你不会抛弃了我们吧？神哪，你不与我们的队伍一同出征吗？

神啊，你不是丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍兵同去嗎？

上帝啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？上帝啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

神啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

上帝啊，你拋棄了我們嗎？不再和我們的軍隊一同出戰了嗎？

神啊！你不是把我們丟棄了嗎？神啊！你不和我們的軍隊一同出戰嗎？

上帝啊，不是你把我們屏棄了麼？上帝啊，你不在我們軍隊中去出戰了！

神哪，你不會拋棄了我們吧？神哪，你不與我們的隊伍一同出征嗎？

上帝歟、爾非棄我乎、上帝歟、爾不與我軍偕出兮、

惟爾上帝、素棄我躬、惟爾上帝、今率予軍旅兮。

豈非天主乎、現今主竟棄絕我儕、不率我軍旅出徵、

摩瓦作盤。夷東置屩。菲莉之野。供我歡躍。

Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?

God, isn’t it you, even though you have now turned away from us? Isn’t it you, even though you don’t lead our armies into battle anymore?

Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go forth, O God, with our armies.

Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?

God, haven’t you rejected us? God, you do not march out with our armies.

Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

Hast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

God, haven’t You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies.

[ Wilt] not thou, O God,[ which] hadst cast us off? and[ thou], O God,[ which] didst not go out with our armies?

Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.

Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.

God, have You Yourself not rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, God?

Therefore the sons of Israel cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become designated for destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you eliminate from your midst the things designated for destruction.

God, You have rejected us. You have broken us; You have been angry; restore us!

But the Lord said to me,‘ Say to them,“ Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; otherwise you will be defeated by your enemies.” ’

And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said,“ What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” Then they understood that the ark of the Lord had come into the camp.So the Philistines were afraid, for they said,“ God has come into the camp!” And they said,“ Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before.

Joshua captured all these kings and their lands at one time, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

So the Philistines fought and Israel was defeated, and every man fled to his tent; and the defeat was very great, for thirty thousand foot soldiers of Israel fell.Moreover, the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel, and the men of Israel fled from the Philistines but fell fatally wounded on Mount Gilboa.And the Philistines also overtook Saul and his sons, and the Philistines killed Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchi shua, the sons of Saul.The battle became severe against Saul, and the archers found him; and he was wounded by the archers.Then Saul said to his armor bearer,“ Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised Philistines will come and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.So Saul died with his three sons, and all those of his house died together.When all the people of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and fled; and the Philistines came and lived in them.It came about the next day, when the Philistines came to strip those killed, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.So they stripped him and took his head and his armor and sent messengers around the land of the Philistines to carry the good news to their idols and to the people.They put his armor in the house of their gods and impaled his head in the house of Dagon.When all Jabesh gilead heard everything that the Philistines had done to Saul,all the valiant men got up and took away the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh; and they buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted for seven days.So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he committed against the Lord, because of the word of the Lord which he did not keep; and also because he asked counsel of a medium, making inquiry of her,and did not inquire of the Lord. Therefore He killed him and turned the kingdom over to David, the son of Jesse.

Some praise their chariots and some their horses, But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.

Then you will say on that day,“ I will give thanks to You, Lord; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me.Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”

“ Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord chose, He has rejected them’? So they despise My people as no longer being a nation in their sight.This is what the Lord says:‘ If My covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have not established the fixed patterns of heaven and earth,then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so as not to take from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and have mercy on them.’ ”

And I will wait for the Lord who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; I will wait eagerly for Him.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in noblemen.All nations surrounded me; In the name of the Lord I will certainly fend them off.

Through You we will push back our adversaries; Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us.For I will not trust in my bow, Nor will my sword save me.But You have saved us from our adversaries, And You have put to shame those who hate us.In God we have boasted all day long, And we will give thanks to Your name forever. SelahYet You have rejected us and brought us to dishonor, And do not go out with our armies.

for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
