彼驕泰詭譎、厥口詛咒、求主降罰、適當其罪兮。

其唇邊之言語、即其口中之罪孽、因驕傲、因出詈言誑語、必被拘困、

惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter,

壞人嘴裡的過失，是自己的網羅；但義人必脫離患難。

只有起假誓、撒謊、殘殺、偷盜、姦淫、行強暴，以至流人血事件相繼而來。

愚昧人的口自取滅亡，他的嘴唇是自己性命的網羅。

他口裡充滿咒詛、詭詐和欺壓的話，舌頭底下盡是毒害與奸惡。

惡人驕橫地追逼困苦人，願惡人陷入自己所設的陰謀中。

我告訴你們，人所說的閒話，在審判的日子，句句都要供出來，因為你要照你的話被稱為義，或定為有罪。”

詭詐的舌頭啊！他要給你甚麼呢？他要加給你甚麼呢？就是勇士的利箭，和羅騰木燒的炭火。

正直人的公義必拯救自己，但奸詐人必陷溺於自己的惡慾中。

但他們極力說：“他在猶太全地教導人，煽動群眾，從加利利直到這裡。”

主啊！願你把我們鄰國羞辱你的羞辱，七倍歸還在他們身上。

到了那日，你必不因你背叛我所作的一切感到羞愧，因為那時我必從你中間除掉那些自高自大的人。在我的聖山上，你必不再高傲。

他愛咒詛，願咒詛臨到他；他不喜愛祝福，願福樂遠離他。他以咒詛當作衣服穿上，咒詛就像水一般進入他的內臟，像油一樣進入他的骨頭。

至於那些圍困我的人，願他們的頭被自己嘴唇的奸惡遮蓋。願炭火落在他們身上；願他們掉在深坑裡，不能再起來。

如果你給自己口裡的話纏累，給你口裡的話綁住；

群眾回答：“流他的血的責任，歸在我們和我們子孫的身上吧。”

但神要用箭射他們，他們必忽然受傷。他們各人反被自己的舌頭所害，必然跌倒；所有看見他們的，都必搖頭。
