因其口之罪、脣之辭、及其呪詛誑誕、任其為驕慢所縛兮、

彼驕泰詭譎、厥口詛咒、求主降罰、適當其罪兮。

其唇邊之言語、即其口中之罪孽、因驕傲、因出詈言誑語、必被拘困、

惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

坏人嘴里的过失，是自己的网罗；但义人必脱离患难。

只有起假誓、撒谎、残杀、偷盗、奸淫、行强暴，以至流人血事件相继而来。

愚昧人的口自取灭亡，他的嘴唇是自己性命的网罗。

他口里充满咒诅、诡诈和欺压的话，舌头底下尽是毒害与奸恶。

恶人骄横地追逼困苦人，愿恶人陷入自己所设的阴谋中。

我告诉你们，人所说的闲话，在审判的日子，句句都要供出来，因为你要照你的话被称为义，或定为有罪。”

诡诈的舌头啊！他要给你什么呢？他要加给你什么呢？就是勇士的利箭，和罗腾木烧的炭火。

正直人的公义必拯救自己，但奸诈人必陷溺于自己的恶欲中。

但他们极力说：“他在犹太全地教导人，煽动群众，从加利利直到这里。”

主啊！愿你把我们邻国羞辱你的羞辱，七倍归还在他们身上。

到了那日，你必不因你背叛我所作的一切感到羞愧，因为那时我必从你中间除掉那些自高自大的人。在我的圣山上，你必不再高傲。

他爱咒诅，愿咒诅临到他；他不喜爱祝福，愿福乐远离他。他以咒诅当作衣服穿上，咒诅就像水一般进入他的内脏，像油一样进入他的骨头。

至于那些围困我的人，愿他们的头被自己嘴唇的奸恶遮盖。愿炭火落在他们身上；愿他们掉在深坑里，不能再起来。

如果你给自己口里的话缠累，给你口里的话绑住；

群众回答：“流他的血的责任，归在我们和我们子孙的身上吧。”

但神要用箭射他们，他们必忽然受伤。他们各人反被自己的舌头所害，必然跌倒；所有看见他们的，都必摇头。
