彼驕泰詭譎、厥口詛咒、求主降罰、適當其罪兮。

其唇邊之言語、即其口中之罪孽、因驕傲、因出詈言誑語、必被拘困、

惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

惡人狂妄地追逼窮苦人，願他們落入自己所設的圈套。

我告訴你們，在審判之日，人將為自己所說的每一句閒話負責，因為將來要憑你口中的話來判斷你是否有罪。」

詭詐之徒啊！你會受到怎樣的懲罰呢？你會有什麼下場呢？等待你的是勇士的利箭和炙熱的炭火。

正直人被義行所救，奸詐者被私慾所擄。

但他們堅持說：「這個人從加利利開始一直到這裡，在猶太地區四處傳道，煽動民心。」

主啊，我們的鄰邦羞辱你，求你以七倍的羞辱來報應他們。

到那天，你必不再因背叛我而感到羞愧，因為那時我必除掉你那裡狂妄自大的人，你在我的聖山上必不再高傲。

他喜歡咒詛人，願咒詛臨到他；他不喜歡祝福人，願祝福遠離他。他咒詛成性，願咒詛如水侵入他的身體，如油浸透他的骨頭。

願那些圍攻我的人自食惡果。願火炭落在他們身上，願他們被丟進火裡，被拋進深坑，不得翻身。

你若被自己口中的話套住，被自己的諾言纏住，

眾人都說：「流祂血的責任由我們和我們的子孫承擔！」

但上帝必用箭射他們，將他們突然射倒在地。他們必自作自受，被自己的舌頭所害。看見的人都嘲笑他們。

「總督大人，我們記得那個騙子生前曾說，『三天之後，我必復活』，
