Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge people with equity?

And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.And righteousness shall be the girdle of his waist, and faithfulness the girdle of his loins.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tent of meeting, that they may stand there with thee.

God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.How long will ye judge unjustly, And respect the persons of the wicked?[ Selah

So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and officers, according to your tribes.And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the sojourner that is with him.

Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: Set me on high from them that rise up against me.

And when they heard this, they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison- house to have them brought.

and said to the judges, Consider what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for Jehovah; and he is with you in the judgment.Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.

So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Jehovah: and they anointed David king over Israel.

The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spake to me: One that ruleth over men righteously, That ruleth in the fear of God,

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, according to thy tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.Thou shalt not wrest justice: thou shalt not respect persons; neither shalt thou take a bribe; for a bribe doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High.Nevertheless ye shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.

Then were gathered together the chief priests, and the elders of the people, unto the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas;

And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good and righteous man( he had not consented to their counsel and deed), a man of Arimathæa, a city of the Jews, who was looking for the kingdom of God:

Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king’s son.He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.

Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.
