仇敵環攻、如獅之吞噬、如火之燎原、斯世之人、齒若戈矢、舌若鋒刃兮。

自天降佑。莫使併吞。敵人肆虐。祈爾施恩。

I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts— men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

Men who are like lions are all around me. I am forced to lie down among people who are like hungry animals. Their teeth are like spears and arrows. Their tongues are like sharp swords.

I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey— whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords.

My soul is among lions; I must lie among those who devour, Among sons of mankind whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue is a sharp sword.

耶和華上帝、我敵若獅、惟彼齒牙、爾其折之。

有人齒如刀鋸、吞噬貧人。

其口滑稽、如酥如油、心懷殺機、其詞柔媚、同於膏沐、利於鋒刃。

主旁觀而不拯、將至何時、願爾救我於死亡、脫我於獅口兮、

愚人之舌如鋒刃、智人之言若良藥。

彼世人兮、礪其舌鋒、猶之利刃、出其語剌、無異發矢兮、

爾謀殘害、爾行詭譎、如薙髮之刀、其鋒銛利兮、

不然、願火自亞庇米力出、燬示劍人、與米羅族、亦願火自示劍人及米羅族出、燬亞庇米力。

彼若獅兮、欲我是噬、若稚獅兮、耽耽穴視、耶和華兮、勃然而興、突如其來兮、譴彼災祲加之以利刃兮、救我於敵人、

舌如火、在百體中、能玷一身、不義孰甚、賦畀之性亦為所爇、是其焰由地獄起、

妄證者若梃、若刃、若利鏃、

其口孔張、吼似猛獅兮、予不覺觳觫、而骨若散兮、氣之餒也、如水之流蕩兮、心之怯也、若蠟之消融兮、精力日以衰、如陶器嘆火而燥兮、齦閉舌卷、命臨死地兮、梟獍圍我、惡黨環攻、傷予手足兮、

耶穌曰、倘爾識上帝之賜、與請飲者誰、爾求之、其必以活水與爾、婦曰、主、無汲器、井又深、何由得活水耶、

我之上帝、鑒我無辜、未嘗違逆乎王、遣使箝獅口、俾我免遭吞噬、王欣喜不勝、命取但以理出穴、蓋但以理信其上帝、雖居獅穴、亦不受害、王命曳訟但以理之人、及其妻孥、投於獅穴、未至穴中、獅即嚙之、斷傷其肢體、

口吐利劍、擊諸異邦、叩以鐵杖、踐盡酒醡、

暴君虐貧民、若咆哮之獅、饑餓之熊。

彼若獅兮、穴視而耽耽、執貧民兮、羅網之是張、攘奪之是行兮、

莠言自口、譬諸利劍、自謂人不及知兮。
