翼卵昫伏恩罔極。聖道保身洵不妄。

輾轉於牀榻。默憶歷深更。

主之正直峻於嶽。主之睿斷深於淵。

急難求主佑。吾主未嘗辭。我今復求主。援手昭仁慈。願主保小子。如保目中瞳。孵我於翼下。雍雍爾懷中。

閒人坐於城門而以予為談資兮。酒徒亦將予編入醉後之歌詞。予惟吾主兮是怙。求主及時兮祐護。按爾之仁兮。聽予之訴。依爾之信兮。鑒予之苦。拔我兮泥中。脫我兮諸兇。無使洪水兮溺身。無使深淵兮相吞。莫令予身兮。淪於地腹。

困苦無告蒙哀矜。主是窮民避難城。

以資瞻仰。以避災殃。

天主必親為拭其目中之淚。此後不復有死喪、哀悼、悲泣、憂愁等事舊緒已成過去。」

居止至尊之堂奧。必得優游覆育下。

諸先知托主名以傳教、忍辱負重、百折不撓、實足為兄弟之楷式。彼等以暫時忍受、換得永久之福樂、不亦可羨乎？約伯之忍耐、爾曾聞之、且曾見之。而主之如何溫燠其晚境、皆昭昭在爾耳目。主之富於惻怛哀矜、於此可見一斑。

祈賜仁惠。寬慰吾心。固知我主。言出惟行。不見慈愍。何以為生。金科玉律。怡悅心魂。

予應之曰：「公自知之。」渠乃語予曰：若輩來自憂患中、備嘗艱辛、曾藉羔羊之血、自濯其袍、所服皜皜乎不可尚已；

心悅誠服以順命兮。免天帝之震怒。何苦自取滅亡兮。自絕於康莊之大路。須知惟有委順兮。能邀無窮之福祚。

既以至尊為安宅。

依主之人。安如西溫。確乎不拔。終古長存。

豈可使彼敵人兮。幸吾災而樂吾憂。

若不減其時日、血氣之倫、將無倖全；惟為蒙選者之故、時日必當見減。

予切實語爾爾將哀悼痛苦、而世將歡忻鼓舞。爾等不免憂心戚戚、然爾等之憂戚、終必化為神樂。

『耶路撒冷乎！殘殺先知、石擊天主使臣之耶路撒冷乎！吾之欲集汝兒女、若牝禽之覆翼其雛者、不已頻乎！而汝終莫之許也！
