因為你解救了我的性命脫離死亡，絕不會讓我的腳絆跌，好使我得以在生命的光中行在神的面前！

蓋爾拯我魂於死亡、豈不佑我足、不至顚蹶、俾我行於生命光中、在上帝前兮、

昔蒙爾援余於死亡、今求爾免余於傾跌、俾我享有生之福、崇事爾兮。

因主從死中救我生命、保祐我免於傾跌、使我在生命光中、奉事天主、

For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

You have saved me from the darkness of death. You have kept me from tripping and falling. Now I can live with you in the light of life.

For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life giving light.

大父待小子。恩澤豈不富。脫我於萬死。拭我目中淚。殷勤相扶持。令我無跌墜。虔將餘生獻。翼翼承甘旨。

凝神專志。昭事恩保。千秋萬歲。宣揚眞教。主之待我。恩德不小。拯吾之身。出於泉窖。

兢兢履主道。未嘗循邪枉。

當知使一罪人去邪歸正、便是救拔一條靈魂出於死地；爾亦可將功贖罪矣。

濟弱更扶傾。慷慨救危亡。

耶穌又謂眾曰：『予乃世之光、從予者不行黑暗中、必具生命之光。』

耶穌曰：『光處爾曹之中、尚有片時、及爾有光、爾當勉行、毋使暗冥襲爾、行於黑暗中者、不自知其所往、及爾有光爾當景仰、庶成光明之子。』語畢、耶穌退而潛居。

以待其聖子耶穌之臨格。聖子者、即天主所起於死者之中、而令吾人免於將臨之譴怒者也。

而救拔一切呻吟於死亡淫威下之生靈耳。

甫云將失足。慈恩扶我立。

蓋爾等本屬昏昏、今則因主而為昭昭矣。故行事當光明正大、庶不愧為光明之子。夫光明之果、曰善、曰公、曰誠；亦在隨時體察何以求悅主心而已。凡黑暗之事、無所裨益、爾等非惟不可染指、且應嚴辭責之。蓋若輩所行曖昧之事、即言之亦可羞也。然凡事一經光明照察、即昭然若揭、斯光明矣，故曰：睡者其興、死者其起！惟彼基督、光明照爾。

斯邑亦無需日月之照臨、蓋以天主之榮耀為光、而以羔羊為燈也。天下萬國皆得行於斯光之中。而率土百王、咸將歸其榮華於斯光。

實如待宰羊。死亡為之牧。平明正人興。群小當俯伏。塵影淪重泉。何處可托足。

天主既脫吾儕於萬死、且至今猶時時予以保障、故吾儕將一切希望託付於主、深信其必保障到底。
