阴间和死亡填不满，人的眼目永不满足。

阴间和冥府在耶和华面前尚且无法隐藏，何况世人的心思呢！

不要过分邪恶，也不要做愚人，何必时候未到就死呢？

押尼珥回到希伯仑的时候，约押就把他带到城门的瓮洞，装作与他密谈，乘机用短剑刺入他的肚子，把他杀死了，为他兄弟亚撒黑报了仇。

刹那间，荆棘还没有把锅烧热的工夫，上帝必除灭他们。

他们的嘴巴充满罪恶，口中尽是咒诅和谎言，愿他们陷在狂傲中不能自拔。求你发烈怒毁灭他们，彻底铲除他们，使普天下都知道上帝在雅各家掌权。（细拉）

“我出卖了清白无辜的人，我犯罪了！”他们说：“那是你自己的事，跟我们有什么关系？”犹大把钱扔在圣殿里，出去上吊自尽了。
