他們大聲呼喊說：「神聖、真實的主啊！你不施行審判，不為我們的血向住在地上的人討回公道，還要多久呢？」於是他們每個人都被賜予了一件白袍；有話吩咐他們還要安息一些時候，直到那些與他們同做奴僕的和他們的弟兄，就是那些將要像他們一樣被殺的人，滿足了數目。

他在萬有之先，萬有也藉著他而存在，

藉著你的慈愛，除盡我的仇敵，消滅我靈魂所有的敵人，因為我是你的僕人！

拯救我們的神哪，你以公義、用可畏的事回應我們，你是一切遠在天涯海角的人所依賴的！

這些猶太人不但殺了主耶穌和先知們，也驅逐了我們，並且不討神的喜悅，又與所有的人作對，阻止我們向外邦人傳道使外邦人得救。這樣，他們常常積滿自己的罪孽，而神的震怒在最後臨到了他們身上！

因為沒有迅速執行對惡行的判決，所以世人的心裡就充滿了作惡的念頭；

他們沒有一般人所受的苦難，也不與普通人一樣遭遇災害。因此自高是他們的項鏈，殘暴如衣裳披在他們的身上。

主啊，你世世代代是我們的居所！群山生出之前，你造出大地和世界之前，從永遠到永遠，你是神。

這些國所有的神明中，有哪一個曾解救自己的國土脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華會解救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」

神聽了就動怒，極其厭棄以色列。

要知道，無知人的背道將害死自己，愚昧人的安樂將毀了自己；
