非敵我者詬我、若然、尚可容忍、非憾我者驕我、若然、則必退避兮、

今有人焉、矜詡侮予、非予寇讎、非予仇隙、設或是之、猶可隱忍、杜門不出、

毀謗我者、素非仇人、若是仇人、尚可忍耐、向我狂傲者、素非憾我之人、若是憾我之人、猶可隱避、

惡黨充街衢。行為暴且譎。

If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide.

If an enemy were making fun of me, I could stand it. If he were getting ready to oppose me, I could hide.

For it is not an enemy who taunts me— then I could bear it; it is not an adversary who deals insolently with me— then I could hide from him.

It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them.

Now it is not an enemy who insults me— otherwise I could bear it; it is not a foe who rises up against me— otherwise I could hide from him.

连我信任的密友，就是那吃我饭的，也用脚踢我。

我这话不是指着你们全体说的；我认识我所拣选的人，但是经上的话：‘那吃我饭的，用他的脚踢我’，必须应验。

他们吃的时候，耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，你们中间有一个人要出卖我。”他们就很忧愁，一个一个地问他：“主啊，是我吗？”他回答：“那和我一同把手蘸在盘子里的人，他要出卖我。

愿那些喜欢我遭难的，一同蒙羞抱愧；愿那些对我妄自尊大的，都披上惭愧和耻辱。

出卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方，因为耶稣和门徒常常在那里聚集。那时，犹大带着一队兵，还有祭司长和法利赛人的差役，拿着灯笼、火把、武器，来到园子里。

因为我曾说：“恐怕他们向我夸耀；我的脚滑跌的时候，不要让他们向我夸口。”

斧头怎可以向用斧头砍木的人自夸呢？锯子怎可以向拉锯的人自大呢？好比棍能挥动那举起棍的，又好比杖举起那不是木头的。
