Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.

Our God comes, and he won’t be silent. A burning fire goes ahead of him. A terrible storm is all around him.

Our God comes; he does not keep silence; before him is a devouring fire, around him a mighty tempest.

Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him.

Our God is coming; he will not be silent! Devouring fire precedes him, and a storm rages around him.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; A fire shall devour before Him, And it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.

Anyone who has ignored the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Before the Lord, for He is coming, For He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness.

Mountains quake because of Him, And the hills come apart; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, The world and all the inhabitants in it.Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath gushes forth like fire, And the rocks are broken up by Him.The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.

“ For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the Lord of armies,“ so that it will leave them neither root nor branches.

God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, God, do not be still.

Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the entire mountain quaked violently.

The Lord will go out like a warrior, He will stir His zeal like a man of war. He will shout, indeed, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.“ I have kept silent for a long time, I have kept still and restrained Myself. Now like a woman in labor I will groan, I will both gasp and pant.

These things you have done and I kept silent; You thought that I was just like you; I will rebuke you and present the case before your eyes.

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderer’s soap.And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Before Him goes plague, And plague comes forth after Him.

God is to us a God of salvation; And to God the Lord belong ways of escape from death.

So He said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord was passing by! And a great and powerful wind was tearing out the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.And after the earthquake, a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire, a sound of a gentle blowing.

Fire goes before Him And burns up His enemies all around.His lightning lit up the world; The earth saw it and trembled.The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

For such is God, Our God forever and ever; He will lead us until death.

For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind,and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words, which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word be spoken to them.For they could not cope with the command,“ If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.”And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said,“ I am terrified and trembling.”

Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their laps,Both your own wrongdoings and the wrongdoings of your fathers together,” says the Lord.“ Because they have burned incense on the mountains And scorned Me on the hills, Therefore I will measure their former work into their laps.”

His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

for our God is a consuming fire.

So be aware today that it is the Lord your God who is crossing over ahead of you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and eliminate them quickly, just as the Lord has spoken to you.

how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,

Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry.Smoke went up out of His nostrils, And fire from His mouth was devouring; Coals burned from it.He also bowed the heavens down low, and came down With thick darkness under His feet.He rode on a cherub and flew; And He sped on the wings of the wind.He made darkness His hiding place, His canopy around Him, Darkness of waters, thick clouds.From the brightness before Him passed His thick clouds, Hailstones and coals of fire.The Lord also thundered in the heavens, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.He sent out His arrows, and scattered them, And lightning flashes in abundance, and routed them.Then the channels of water appeared, And the foundations of the world were exposed By Your rebuke, Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

He who testifies to these things says,“ Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
