And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb[ is] the light thereof.

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

But the LORD[ is] in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

I will go[ and] return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance[ was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great[ is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

They have seen thy goings, O God;[ even] the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

For how great[ is] his goodness, and how great[ is] his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man[ whom] thou madest strong for thyself.

His mouth[ is] most sweet: yea, he[ is] altogether lovely. This[ is] my beloved, and this[ is] my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than[ that of] Abel.See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more[ shall not] we[ escape], if we turn away from him that[ speaketh] from heaven:Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
