斯民得土、不恃戈兵、不藉人力、乃爾巨力大能、眷顧而祐之兮。

親手逐諸夷。吾族蒙建立。諸夷皆衰落。吾族獨發達。

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

They didn’t win the land with their swords. They didn’t gain success by their own power. Your powerful right hand and your mighty arm gave them victory. You gave them success because you loved them.

主悅爾、選擇爾、非為爾較諸國之民、人數眾多、爾原較諸民、人數維寡、乃因主眷愛爾、又因主欲踐向爾列祖所發之誓、故施展大能導爾出、贖爾於為奴之地、救爾於伊及王法老之手、

我曾使大蜂驅逐亞摩利二王於爾前、不藉爾刃、不藉爾弓、

恐爾意謂我獲此財、盡由己力己能、當憶主爾之天主以能力賜爾、俾爾獲財、以踐所誓於爾祖之盟約、有如今日之事、

雖然、主惟悅爾祖寵愛之、於萬民中特選其後裔、即爾曹、有如今日之事、

驚駭恐懼臨及其身、主顯大能、彼眾如石寂然不動、待主之民經行、待主所選之民經行、

我心為何抑鬱、為何煩惱、當仰望天主、天主仍必面向我、拯救我、我因而頌揚天主、

不第此也、利伯加從我祖以撒而懷孕時、子尚未生、未行善惡、而語利伯加云、長子必事幼子、以示天主選人之旨、非由行事、乃由召者、

我心為何抑鬱、為何煩惱、當仰望天主、天主必覿面施救、我因而頌揚天主、

主眷愛爾列祖、故選其後裔、施其大能、親自導爾出伊及、以較爾強大之民逐於爾前、導爾入其境、以其地賜爾為業、有如今日之事、

求主格外施恩、仰賴主者、主常以右手救其脫於仇敵、

主因何撤回右手、求主從懷中伸手而滅敵、

今我知主保祐所立之受膏王、從聖天應允之、以右手之大能拯救之、

有多人云、惟願得福、主歟、我惟願主面之榮光照臨我儕、

主既歡然選爾為己民、必因其大名不棄爾、

彼謂我曰、其意即主所諭所羅巴伯云、萬有之主曰、非以勢、非以能、乃以我之神也、非以勢非以能乃以我之神也或作非恃能非恃力乃恃我之神事始能成

主若悅我、必導我至其地、以之賜我、是地流乳與蜜、

主以臂力救贖子民、即雅各與約瑟之後裔、細拉、

但我有此寶藏於土器、使人知此莫大之能、非由我、乃由天主也、

其時主以榮臂、援摩西右手、前往導引、於民前中分海水、大顯其名、永世不替、

主曰、我愛爾、爾曰、主於何處愛我、主於何處愛我或作主以何愛我又作主愛我以何為徵主曰、以掃非雅各之兄乎、我愛雅各、不愛不愛或作而惡以掃、使其諸山荒蕪、使其地業為豺狼豺狼或作野犬之洞穴、

現今此樹、被火焚燒、亦被砍伐、主之民因主發怒譴責、乃至滅亡、
