巴珊山、神妙莊嚴的山！巴珊山、多峰多嶺的山！多峰多嶺的山哪，你們為甚麼嫉視着羨慕上帝所中意做居所的山，永恆主所要永久居住的山呢？

我往往在貴顯羣中，一團熙熙攘攘的參拜者，用歡呼稱讚的聲音，行進到上帝殿裏：這些事我每逢追想，便傾瀉傷感來。

有一道河、它的支流使上帝的城歡喜；這城是聖所，至高者的住處。

我的仇敵啊，你不要因着我而沾沾自喜！我雖然跌倒了，卻要起來；我雖坐在黑暗裏，永恆主卻做我的光。
