愿那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧难当！

愿那些对我说：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而惊惶。

愿那些对我说“啊哈，啊哈”的，因自己的耻辱而惊恐。

願那些對我說阿哈、阿哈的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些對我說「啊哈、啊哈」的，因羞愧而敗亡！

願那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧難當！

願那些對我說：“啊哈！啊哈！”的，都因羞愧而驚惶。

願那譏誚我說：『呵哈！呵哈！』的都因失望而驚駭。

願那些對我說「啊哈，啊哈」的，因自己的恥辱而驚恐。

向我曰嘻嘻者、願其慚怍而驚駭兮、

有謂予曰、吁哉咈哉、爾當使彼煢然孑立、以報斯讐兮、

向我幸災樂禍者、願其羞愧敗亡、

務使謀我者。無所施其伎。

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame.

Some people make fun of me. Let them be shocked when their plans fail.

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me,“ Aha, Aha!”

Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said,“ Aha! We’ve got him now!”

Let them be confounded because of their shame, Who say to me,“ Aha, aha!”

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

May those who say to me,“ Aha! Aha!” be humiliated and disgraced!

Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said,“ Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it!”

Don’t let them say in their heart,“ Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.

Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.When he is judged, let him come out guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.Let his days be few. Let another take his office.Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children.Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh. Don’t let the sin of his mother be blotted out.Let them be before Yahweh continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth;because he didn’t remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, of those who speak evil against my soul.

Let them be turned because of their shame who say,“ Aha! Aha!”Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say,“ Let God be exalted!”

For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”

Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.

Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
