May all who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

Let all those who are trying to kill me be put to shame. Let them lose their way. Let all those who want to destroy me be turned back in shame.

Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!

May those who try to destroy me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.

Let those who intend to take my life be disgraced and confounded. Let those who wish me harm be turned back and humiliated.

Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.

They will say of me,‘ There is righteousness and strength only in Yahweh.’” Even to him will men come. All those who raged against him will be disappointed.

When therefore he said to them,“ I am he,” they went backward, and fell to the ground.

When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence.

He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”He said,“ Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”

Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he didn’t give God the glory. Then he was eaten by worms and died.But the word of God grew and multiplied.

Let me not be disappointed, Yahweh, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol.Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.

Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.Let them be turned because of their shame who say,“ Aha! Aha!”

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves,‘ This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”They told him,“ He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”
