On that day— this is the LORD’s declaration— I will assemble the lame and gather the scattered, those I have injured.I will make the lame into a remnant, those far removed into a strong nation. Then the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time on and forever.

I sought the Lord in my day of trouble. My hands were continually lifted up all night long; I refused to be comforted.I think of God; I groan; I meditate; my spirit becomes weak. Selah

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; he was despised, and we didn’t value him.Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.
