For I said,“ Don’t let them rejoice over me— those who are arrogant toward me when I stumble.”

我曾说：“恐怕他们向我夸耀；我失脚的时候，他们向我夸大。”

我曾求告你，别让他们幸灾乐祸，在我失脚时沾沾自喜。

因为我曾说：“恐怕他们向我夸耀；我的脚滑跌的时候，不要让他们向我夸口。”

因为我曾说：“不要让他们对我幸灾乐祸；我的脚动摇时，不要让他们在我面前高抬自己。”

我曾說：恐怕他們向我誇耀；我失腳的時候，他們向我誇大。

我曾說：「恐怕他們向我誇耀，我失腳的時候，他們向我誇口。」

我曾說：「恐怕他們向我誇耀，我失腳的時候，他們向我誇口。」

我曾求告你，別讓他們幸災樂禍，在我失腳時沾沾自喜。

因為我曾說：“恐怕他們向我誇耀；我的腳滑跌的時候，不要讓他們向我誇口。”

因為我心裏說：『恐怕敵人因我的失敗而沾沾自喜；恐怕我腳顛躓時他們會向我妄自尊大。』

因為我曾說：「不要讓他們對我幸災樂禍；我的腳動搖時，不要讓他們在我面前高抬自己。」

我曰、恐彼為我而誇、我失足時、彼乃夸大兮、

我曾云恐我仇敵、因我遭難欣喜、因我失足、向我妄自誇大、

除主復何怙。有感寧無願。

For I said,“ Do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip.”

I said,“ Don’t let my enemies have the joy of seeing me fall. Don’t let them brag when my feet slip.”

For I said,“ Only let them not rejoice over me, who boast against me when my foot slips!”

I prayed,“ Don’t let my enemies gloat over me or rejoice at my downfall.”

For I said,“ May they not rejoice over me, Who, when my foot slips, would exalt themselves over me.”

For I said,“ Hear me, lest they rejoice over me, Lest, when my foot slips, they exalt themselves against me.”

For I said, Lest they rejoice over me: When my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

For I said,“ Don’t let them rejoice over me— those who are arrogant toward me when I stumble.”

For I said,[ Hear me], lest[ otherwise] they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify[ themselves] against me.

I have prayed for deliverance, because otherwise they will gloat over me; when my foot slips they will arrogantly taunt me.

For I said,“ Don’t let them gloat over me, or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips.”

If I say,“ My foot is slipping,” your faithful love will support me, LORD.

Vindicate me, LORD my God, in keeping with your righteousness, and do not let them rejoice over me.Do not let them say in their hearts,“ Aha! Just what we wanted.” Do not let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”Let those who rejoice at my misfortune be disgraced and humiliated; let those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and reproach.

Consider me and answer, LORD my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death.My enemy will say,“ I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

Vengeance and retribution belong to me. In time their foot will slip, for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly.”
