He gave justice and help to the poor and needy, and everything went well for him. Isn’t that what it means to know me?” says the Lord.

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.Light shines on the godly, and joy on those whose hearts are right.

And this is the way to have eternal life— to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.

I will give them hearts that recognize me as the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.

And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.

But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children

And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

“ I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

The Lord rewarded me for doing right. He has seen my innocence.To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity.

The Lord judges the nations. Declare me righteous, O Lord, for I am innocent, O Most High!End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God.God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right.

Long ago the Lord said to Israel:“ I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.Don’t put your servant on trial, for no one is innocent before you.

Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but my salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end!“ Listen to me, you who know right from wrong, you who cherish my law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn, nor fear their insults.For the moth will devour them as it devours clothing. The worm will eat at them as it eats wool. But my righteousness will last forever. My salvation will continue from generation to generation.”

The Lord will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession.Judgment will again be founded on justice, and those with virtuous hearts will pursue it.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.And now the prize awaits me— the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
