不容他們心裏說：阿哈，遂我們的心願了！不容他們說：我們已經把他吞了！

別讓他們說：「哈哈，我們如願以償了！」別讓他們說：「我們除掉他了！」

不要讓他們心裡說：“啊哈！這正是我們的心願！”不要讓他們說：“我們把他吞下去了！”

別讓他們心裏說：『呵哈！正遂我們的心願！』別讓他們說：『我們把他吞下了！』

勿容其心曰、嘻、適如我願、勿容彼曰、我已吞之兮、

毋使彼自鳴得意、肆其吞噬兮、

莫容其心中云、吁哉、我已得如願、莫容其言云、我已吞噬之、

彈冠共相慶。竟將彼吞滅。

他們的怒氣向我們發作時，他們早就活活吞掉了我們——

耶穌靈裡立刻知道他們心裡這樣想，就對他們說：「你們心裡為什麼想這些事呢？

他們心裡說：「我們要徹底制伏這些人！」他們在地上焚燒了神一切的會所。

一旦這會朽壞的穿上那不朽壞的，這會死的穿上那不死的，經上所記的話就會應驗了：「死亡被勝利吞滅了！」

不要把我與惡人、與作孽的一同拖走；他們與自己的鄰人說平安的話，心裡卻是奸惡。

求你不要照著我敵人的願望把我交出去，因為作假見證並口吐凶言的起來攻擊我。

他依靠神，如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧！因為他說過『我是神的兒子。』」

願那些說「啊哈，啊哈」的，因自己的恥辱而退回。

耶和華啊，求你不容惡人的願望實現，不讓他們的謀劃成功，免得他們高舉自己！細拉

可是，有一些經文士坐在那裡，心裡想：

他從天上賜下救恩拯救我，他斥責那踐踏我的人。細拉神賜下了他的慈愛和信實。

神哪，求你恩待我！因為世人踐踏我，與我爭戰的人終日壓迫我。我的仇敵終日踐踏我，狂傲地與我爭戰的人實在多！

我們是以色列中和平、忠實的人，你卻想要毀滅以色列中一座母親之城。你為什麼要吞滅耶和華的繼業呢？」
