一朝我罹難。欣然相慶祝。落井更投石。心中懷叵測。

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing.

我處獅中、與火性之世人共臥、其齒為戈矢、其舌為利刃兮、

爾敵顚仆勿欣喜、傾覆勿心歡、恐耶和華見之不悅、而遷怒焉、

願災禍猝臨之、自罹暗設之網、自陷所掘之阱兮、

今也年少於我者姍笑我、若輩之父、我曾藐視、不欲列之於守羊之犬中、其壯年之氣既衰、其手之力、於我何益、彼因匱乏飢餓、形軀消瘦、齧燥土於荒涼幽暗之中、採藜藿於叢林、取羅騰之根以為食、為人所逐、人喊其後、若喊寇賊、致居幽谷、在於土穴巖窟、呼於叢林之中、集於荊棘之下、原為愚陋之裔、爰被撻逐、離其故土、今我為其歌詞、作其話柄、憎我遠我、唾我面、而不自禁、蓋彼釋其繩索、加我以苦、脫其羈勒、在於我前、下流之輩、起於我右、推移我足、興築滅我之路、

不喜非義、而喜真理、

但猶太人妒之、招納市井匪類、聚集羣眾、使闔邑鼓噪、突至耶孫室、欲取二人以予民、

過者誚之、搖首曰、爾毀殿、三日復建之、可自救也、爾若上帝子、則自十架下矣、祭司諸長、士子、長老、亦如是戲之曰、彼救他人、不能自救也、彼為以色列王、今自十架而下、我則信之、彼恃上帝、上帝果悅之、今可拯之、蓋彼曰、我乃上帝子也、同釘之盜、亦如是詬之、○

我若因憾我者被滅而欣喜、緣其遭禍而氣揚、

戲笑貧窮、乃侮造之之主、幸災樂禍、不免受刑、

蓋敵論我、伺索我命者同謀兮、曰、上帝棄之、其追捕之、無人救援兮、

我聞眾謗、隨在驚惶、我之密友望我顚越、咸曰訟之、予亦訟之、或彼受誘、予則勝之、以復予仇、
