Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

戰戰如履薄。兢兢如臨深。

求主垂憐。示爾慈恩。抹拭我過。昭爾大仁。為我滌除。眾罪之痕。我已知過。眾惡紛呈。

彼此當以忠厚相待、慈悲為懷、互相寬恕、亦如天主之因基督而寬恕於爾也。

因自反曰：「父家多少傭工、皆得飽食而有餘、而吾將為他鄉之餓殍矣、吾其急起歸家、而稟父曰：「父乎、兒獲罪於天、有忝所生、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、待我如傭、足矣。」乃起而歸父、相距尚遙、父已瞥見、頓觸慈心、趨而迓之、抱其頸而吻焉。子曰：「父乎、兒獲罪於天、有忝所生、而今而後、不堪稱為爾子矣。」父謂僕曰：「亟取錦衣衣之、加環於指、置履其足、牽一肥犢宰之、將設筵而慶焉

若吾人自謂無罪、是為自欺、而無真諦存乎吾心。吾人苟能自訟其罪、立志自新、則全信全義之天主、必寬赦吾罪、且為蕩滌眾穢矣。若曰吾向未犯罪、是不啻使天主成為誑者、尚得謂有真諦存乎其心乎。

赦爾諸罪。蘇爾疾苦。

蒙主煦育。可不頌美。勗哉諸聖。讚主莫已。

故予語爾、彼所有諸罪、悉見寬免；以彼之愛深也！惟蒙赦少者、其愛亦淺耳。』

仁恕惟主。恩澤豐盛。凡百有求。靡不見應。

脫我於罪。如隔絕塞。所望吾人。敬主毋懈。

耶穌曰：『爾曹希俗取容、矯義人前、而天主固洞悉爾心。應知人之所貴、正天主之所賤也。

慈悲惟主。不易有怒。仁愛之淵。信義之府。
