Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the person whose lawless acts are forgiven. Their sins have been taken away.

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!

How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!

I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you.Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.

The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.He will be like a tree planted by water: it sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.

How happy is anyone who has put his trust in the LORD and has not turned to the proud or to those who run after lies!

How happy are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Blessed are the humble, for they will inherit the earth.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.“ You are blessed when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of me.Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

As a deer longs for flowing streams, so I long for you, God.

How happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s instruction!Happy are those who keep his decrees and seek him with all their heart.

How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways!

The fool says in his heart,“ There’s no God.” They are corrupt, and they do vile deeds. There is no one who does good.

He said,“ Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.

Happy is the person who trusts in you, LORD of Armies!

Why boast about evil, you hero! God’s faithful love is constant.

Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; LORD, they walk in the light from your face.

Jesus responded,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.

My heart is moved by a noble theme as I recite my verses to the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

God, listen to my prayer and do not hide from my plea for help.

Do not cover their guilt or let their sin be erased from your sight, because they have angered the builders.
