To you, Lord, I call; you are my Rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit.

Lord, my Rock, I call out to you. Pay attention to me. If you remain silent, I will die. I will be like those who go down into the grave.

To you, O Lord, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

I pray to you, O Lord, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die.

耶和華啊，求你快快應允我！我已絕望，求你不要掩面不顧我，不然我必和下墳墓的人無異。

上帝啊，求你不要緘默無聲，一言不發。

我們要像陰間一樣生吞他們，整個吞沒他們，使他們如墜入墳墓的人；

耶和華是我的磐石，我的堡壘，我的拯救者；我的上帝是保護我的磐石，我的盾牌，是拯救我的力量，我的堡壘。

我被列在下墳墓的人中，我的精力耗盡。我被扔在死人中，如同被殺的人躺在墳墓裡，被你遺忘，不再蒙你眷顧。你已經把我扔在漆黑的深淵。

他把牠扔進無底坑裡關起來，加上封印，使牠不能再欺騙各國的人。一千年期滿後，牠會暫時被釋放。

祂救贖我的靈魂，使之免下深坑，使我的生命得見光明。』

陰間不能稱謝你，死亡不能讚美你，下墳墓的人不能仰望你的信實。

「耶和華啊，我被毀滅、落入墳墓有何益處？我歸於塵土，還能讚美你、宣揚你的信實嗎？

要永遠信靠耶和華，因為耶和華是永遠屹立的磐石。

耶和華啊，這一切你都看見了，求你不要再緘默，不要遠離我。

我的上帝啊，我日夜不停地呼求，你卻沒有回應。

我呼求上帝，我高聲呼求，上帝垂聽我的禱告。

我向耶和華呼求，祂就從祂的聖山上回應我。（細拉）

我的王，我的上帝啊！求你垂聽我的呼求，因為我只向你祈禱。

求你不要讓洪水淹沒我，深淵吞滅我，墳墓吞噬我。

我向耶和華呼求，我高聲向祂求助，

我對上帝——我的磐石說：「你為何忘記我？為何要我受仇敵的攻擊，使我哀傷不已呢？」

「耶和華啊，求你垂聽我的禱告，傾聽我的呼求，別對我的眼淚視若無睹。因為我在你面前只是客旅，是寄居的，正如我的祖先。
